The Mantis Shrimp is long-live, and has complex behaviour, such as ritual fighting with another Mantis Shrimp, or using the fluorescent pattern on it's body to attract mates or prey.
Depending on the species, the Mantis shrimp could come out at anytime during the day (or night), but unlike most other crustaceans, the Mantis Shrimp sometimes goes out to hunt/chase prey.
They live in their burrow most of the time, with the Rainbow Mantis Shrimp living in hard places, like coral. They also mate in this burrow, as well as keeping their eggs safe.
The Mantis Shrimp can stay with the same partner for up to 20 years, in which they can have 20-30 breeding episodes.
